yeast-two-hybrid protein-protein interactions effectors rice nematodes

Project description

Plant pathogens are capable of influencing their host plant by so-called effector proteins which are secreted into the plant tissue. In this project we are investigating the interaction between rice and different rice nematodes. The goal is to functionally characterize novel nematode effector proteins by identifying rice interacting proteins using the yeast-two-hybrid technique.
