Project description
Phelipanche ramosa is an obligate root parasite threatening major crops in central Europe. Strigolactones(SL)- induced germination is the first and crucial step in this parasitism. We used Arabidopsis thaliana as a model to study SL induced germination and by using proteomics and interactomics approaches, we discovered new signaling components, which contribute to a better understanding of the pathway.
