Project description
Based on three contemporary architectural practices, this research studies the investment in architectural images in terms of their construction, their relation to an architectural project, as well as their performance in institutional situations. In what ways do their meanings shift between practice and public architectural field? What is the relationship between image, project and identity? What makes contemporary architectural images specific (which institutional conditions) and how can we read them as a visual discourse?
