Project description

In the lab, a chemical compounds screening was used to detect molecules that stimulate the GR dimere pathway. This screening showed that different HDAC inhibitors strongly enhanced the activity of the GR. In this project, these HDACi will be investigated further, to decide if these molecules are applicable in th clinic to enhance the GC activity and to reverse the GC resistance in sepsis patients.
