Project description

Although experimentally and numerically verified, confinement, or the abscence of color-charged particles in the QCD spectrum, hs not been proven yet. in order to gain a better understanding of the underlying responsible mechanism(s), one often choses a particular suitable gauge. We plan to construct the lattice analogues of certain conceptsin the Gribov-Zwanziger formalism, which takes into account Landau gauge copy effects, this in order to get clarifying numerical insights into certain theoretical predictions. For example, we hope to give numerical evidence that the BRST invariance is softly broken.
