Project description

Cells invest energy to maintain their collection of proteins in shape, the process falters as we age and an increasing number of human diseases are associated with proteins that show up as deposits in patients' tissues. We will develop techniques to identify which proteins are lost to co-aggregation in cells in which we aggregation of p53 or alpha-synuclein.
