Project description

The major topics in breeding will be taught, including the use of molecular analyses. The course will cover different kinds of markers and their use in breeding programs for fingerprinting, biodiversity, mapping of traits and QTL’s, incrossing of specific genes (wild or transgene into cultivars) and quality assessment. Case studies for different leguminous plants will be presented.
