Project description
This thesis explores improving healthcare decision-making by integrating decision modelling and machine learning. Part 1 evaluates the use of process and decision modeling in healthcare processes. Part 2 demonstrates by means of the diabetes diagnosis process, the use of DMN and machine learning for personalized decisionmaking. Part 3 explores the impact of using these technologies on transparency, explainability, and validation of the decision-making process.
