Project description
 

Understanding the innate defense of the bovine udder against S. aureus mastitis during the dry period is the main aim of this study. The expression of TLR2 and B-defensins will be investigated at different levels of the bovine udder. The modulation of this expression by S. aureus on the bovine mammary epithelial cells will be studied during the dry period.
