Metal-organic frameworks of MOFs are porous, crystalline materials constructed from both inorganic metal clusters and organic linkers. Nowadays, their catalytic applications are not yet fully exploited. In this project, MOFs will be modified and subsequently characterized in a combined experimental- and computational effort, whereby modeling will assist and investigate catalytic cycles on the active sites.
