Project description
Hydrothermal eruptions are a type of volcanic eruption without magma release; they do not have a clear pre-eruptive signal, making them unpredictable and destructive. Using geophysics, we can image the dynamics of these systems to make better predictions. However, volcanic processes are very slow, which is why we want to test our method on geysers, acting as a fast-changing proxy.
