Project description
The digitization and growing number of pornographic representations have generated a shift in what is considered normative sexuality. As current public and scientific discourses are situated within the media effects paradigm, voices of porn consumers are often neglected. By implementing an interpretative epistemology, this project aims at understanding the role of pornography on sexual norms, whilst considering the consumer’s perspective.
