Project description
The proliferation of integration agreements has created a tangle of overlapping agreements, the Spaghetti Bowl (SB). In this project, we use network analysis to measure the SB and gravity modelling to estimate its impact on trade. We simulate trade integration, including the SB, to assess whether it acts as a stumbling block or stepping stone in the path towards multilateralism.
