Project description

The main objective of my proposal is obtaining stimuli-responsive molecularly imprinted poly(2-  oxazoline)s and presenting their application in targeted drug delivery. The obtained polymers will  be biocompatible poly(2-oxazoline)s, a polymer that is well-known for its biocompatibility.  Moreover, the obtain material will release drug molecules only when a particular stimuli is applied.  More precisely, I am planning to obtain polymers that will release drug molecules after  illumination with a light or when a temperature will rise up to certain value. As drugs that will be  delivered with the use of described polymers I am going to use anti-cancer drugs (doxorubicin,  paclitaxel, 5-fluorouracil). The drug delivery system releasing drugs after interaction with light will  be similar to currently us
