Project description

mainly the life of wooden joinery depends on the thoroughness of the finishing products used. In the research project "Evaluation of coating systems for wood joinery (assesswoodcoat)" which ended in December 2005, the main objective was to develop an evaluation methodology for finishing systems. The new project aims OPTIWOODCOAT not only improve after the proposed standard evaluation tests for waterborne coating systems but will also gain insight into the impact of maintenance for these finishing systems. Based on the obtained research results can be transferred to an industrial implementation.
