Project description

This research project aims to analyze the consequences of frequently occurring stress conditions in joint homeostasis and how these may contribute to chronicity of inflammation in arthritic joint diseases, notably Spondyloarthritis (SpA). The current project therefore aims to unravel the underlying mechanisms of mechanobiology associated inflammation and to explore the role of oxygen levels herein.
