Only recently Trm cells habe been described in the context of asthma and allergy. This project aims to understand what retains the Trm cells in the lungs and which tissue microenvironmental factors would be essential for the function of these Trm cells. Furthermore, it will study the mechanism how these Trm cells control airway inflammation.
