The PROFIT project aims to create a new sustainable value chain for plastic from complex residual flows such as household residual waste by, starting from a final application, reverse engineer the chain and organize fit-for-use separation. With the various actors in the value chain, PROFIT wants to achieve a competitive business case within a reasonable period by framing more fundamental research on separation technology such as selective flotation and centrifuge in a system of integral water and materials management.
