Project description

The objective of this PhD is to access the environmental resource footprint of algae production for several applications (e.g. feed) on a life cycle basis and to compare it with the footprint of the more traditionally used alternatives. Therefore, further development of a LCIA method, able to additionallyt quantify the impact of extracting marine resources and land transformation, is pursued.
