Type 1 diabetes is een auto-immuunziekte waarbij selectief de B-cellen van de pancreas vernietigd worden. In dit project willen we perfluorocarbon nanoparticles ontwikkelen die het mogelijk maken om in vivo via 19F MRI deze immuunresponsen te kwantificeren. In dit project willen we de selectivteit en specificiteit van de ontwikkelde contrastmiddelen nagaan.
