Project description

The goal is to gain insight in steady state electrospinning and functionalisation of nanofibre membranes for water filtration.

Different polymers will be investigated. The nanofibres are functionalised with antibacterial compounds.

The functionalised nanofibre membranes are analysed to better understand the electrospinning process, to study the distribution of the antibacterial compounds and to analyse the potential in water filtration.
