Project description

Primary liver cell cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma) evolve from a liver progenitor cell. Depending on different pathways (eg Notch pathway) and in the presence or absence of oxygen, these cells can dedifferentiate towards a tumor with hepatocytic or cholangiocytic aspects. These pathways shall be studied in this project.
