Project description

The project aims at exploring and valorizing Andean soil microbibal diversity for the development of alternative, efficiënt technologies and crop management practices to improve the productivity of potato farming by 1) exploring agro-ecosystems of soil microbes 2) elucidating the role of rhizosphere microbial communities in plant promoting growth, and preserving the microbes involved 3) develop applied technologies to stimulate sustainable farming and 4) promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and technologies amongst partners
