Project description

The treatment of patients with extensive burns is very complex. Usually follows after a long and painful admission to a burn center a long period of rehabilitation, aftercare and scar treatment. Despite optimal treatment are the most severely burned patients on long-term daily confronted with the consequences of accidents by their disability and permanent unsightly scars. They often experience a substantial loss of quality of life with all the psychological consequences and this complicates the re-integration into society.
