Project description

First, we investigate the relative impact of components of the opportunity structure in the school, neighborhood, and educational system on disengagement. Secondly, we whether students' perceived control over educational matters acts as a mediator. For the purposes of this research project, we use data from the international Cities project which is gathered in 12 major cities around the world.
