Project description

We want to dramatically increase the production of heterologous proteins, such as antibodies, in seeds. Therefore, global regulatory factors, which might influence the stability of plant-made recombinant proteins, will be identified. On the other hand, we want to determine whether other Brassicaceae can be used as an economically feasible production system for these heterologous proteins.
