The project comprises the elaboration of a manual on the soils of DR Congo, consisting of 2 volumes. The first volume 'Research and management of the soils' describes the physical, chemical, biological, hydrological and mophological properties of the soils of DR Congo, as well as their genesis, management and utilisation. The second volume comprises profile descriptions and soil analysis of representative soils from DR Congo, also classifeied according to different international soil classification systems and with their geographical occurrence in DR Congo.
