Project description

This project aims to introduce precision medicine and epigenetics research in the canine neurogenetics field. Practically, canine degenerative myelopathy will be studied with MBD-seq to identify differentially methylated regions associated with disease progression. This will be followed by the writing of a general statistical analysis framework in R that accurately predicts clinical age ofonset for this disorder.
