Project description

Healthy cats frequently show borderline proteinuria and the clinical importance of this will be investigated. Analytical variability (influence of storage, within- and between-laboratory variation), biological variability and the difference in proteinuria assessment between urine collected at-home and urine taken by cystocentesis in the clinic will be evaluated. These findings will contribute to
longitudinally study cats with and without borderline proteinuria.
