Project description
N-terminal protein modification is a major player in the normal development and the physiology of higher eukaryotes. However, this protein modification has not yet been studied in detail. In this project, a modified version of a gel-free proteomics technique will be used to map the substrates of the yet uncharacterized human alpha-N-acetyltransferases.
