Project description
The aim of this research is to develop a model in GAMS about small coffee farmers in Ecuador. The model will examine whether it is better for farmers to get a price premium per kilogram of organic coffee they produce with an organic certificate versus a payment on a per hectare basis for organic coffee similar to agri-environmental schemes.
