This project wishes to investigate the effect of steroïdal contraceptives on the female sexual desire. For this purpose, heterosexual and lesbian women (18-45 years of age) in a stable relationship will be asked to succesively use three different steroïdal contraceptives. The design is multi-disciplinary: to asses possible mediating mechanisms, the women will be investigated on psychosocial, relational and hormonal variables.
