Project description

Within this project we will develop a novel straightforward methodology for the preparation of sequence controlled alternating copolymers that comprise side chain loops between every two consecutive monomers. These novel polymers will be developed into multiresponsive polymer solutions, smart polymeric sensors, responsive hydrogels as well as molecular muscles and polyrotaxane graft copolymers with high potential for utilization as stress-releasing materials.
