Project description

The elevation of coastal lakes in Chile through geological time has changed because of the plate-tectonic motions. Based on InSAR, geological/geomorphological and GPS data, a better insight into these changes will be obtained. This information can subsequently be used to better understand the paleotsunami and paleoseismic records of these lakes and perform risk assessment for future earthquakes and tsunamis
