Project description

Influential theories suggest that addiction is driven by drug wanting and not by drug liking. We aim to examine this dissociation. We will validate paradigms that are assumed to measure wanting and liking in samples of substance (ab)users, and we try to predict addictive behaviour on an individual basis. We also examine how this dissociation develops, using conditioning procedures.
