Digital support and services have become an essential part of social work and mental health care. Clients seek assistance and answers to their questions through email, chat, websites, FAQ sections, video calls, social media, and other digital tools. Similar to other sectors, AI will also bring about a revolution here. However, the associated challenges are particularly significant because the use of AI can have an impact, including negative effects, on the well-being and mental health of many individuals. The stakes are high. We are assessing the needs, identifying pitfalls and problem areas, and searching for pilot projects in the field.
