Project description

A concrete repair technique with improved bond (through substrate crack repair and increased roughness by CaCO3 precipitation) and improved properties (reduced shrinkage cracking, reduced permeability by CaCO3 layer and blockage effect of hydrogels, entrapment of chlorides) will be developed. Modelling of the chloride ingress/redistribution when this repair technique is applied will allow to predict the obtained extension in service life.
