Project description

The conversion of alcohols to hydrocarbons is studies by advanced molecular modeling techniques. The focus is set on strategies to optimize propene selectivity and catalyst lifetime in this versatile process. We distinguish three strategies: (1) choice of operating conditions, (2) active site engineering and (3) the selection of a proper catalyst framework.
