Project description

At the moment, there is a huge interest in ordered, mesoporous, non-silica materials, because of their potential as heterogeneous catalysts and absorbents. In this project, we will synthesize and characterize two brand new families of such materials: mesoporous ordered polymers and mesoporous ordered organosilicates. Both types of materials will have maino, vinyl or styrene functions incorporated in their structure. These materials will be used as a support material for Grubbs Ru-comlexes, and for transition metal oxides.
