This projects aims to co-develop the knowledge with the different partners in the combined area of video processing algorithms and design methodology targeting state-of-the-art embedded platforms. Video processing applications are complex and require profound understanding in order to be fully exploited and optimize video based embedded systems. On top of that, a design methodology based on a standardized flow is essential to develop and keep evolving such complex applications or IP for heterogeneous processor/hardware platforms.
