Project description

In this project the plant response in tomato and rice upon rootknot nematode infection and inoculation with endophytes or both will be analysed with molecular techniques (Q-PCR). There is evidence that endophytes such as endommycorhizae enhance the plant defense. We will focus on plant defense and hormone pathways to understand the plant response.
