Project description
Development and theoretical analysis of numerical methods for direct and inverse time-dependent boundary value problems (including optimization problems and parameter- and data-identification problems) arising from micromagnetism. The efficiency and robustness of the methods will be illustrated on specific examples of electromagnetic phenomenon on the microscopic level. For problems of parameter- and data-identification we will use different regularization techniques based on the deep analysis of the corresponding direct problems including the Landau-Lifshitz equation.
