Project description

Neuroblastoma is a tumor of embryonal origin with a clinical variable outcome. Given the low survival rates of a subset of patients with neuroblastoma, there is an urgent need for new therapies. In this project, we aim to identify new therapeutic targets of neuroblastoma through mRNA and miRNA expression profiling of human and murine progenitor cells. Through integrated molecular profiling we aim to identify new neuroblastoma candidate genes for further functional validation in vitro and in vivo.
