Project description

My project is situated in the domain of neuroethics, which investigates the ethical, legal and social implications of neurological findings and neurological applications. I investigate the philosophical and ethical questions (e.g. related to personal identity, the mind-body problem, responsibility and criminal behavior) surrounding neuromodulation (i.e. direct intervention in the brain) research and treatment for psychiatric conditions.
