Project description

The project investigates the applicability of the quenching and partitioning heat treatment as a tool for production of advanced high strength steel of third generation. Influence of the chemical composition, hot and cold rolling parameters and heat treatment on the microstructure, texture and properties (strength, ductility, weldability, galvanizability etc) are under investigation in order to find the optimum combination of properties and industrial feasibility.
