Project description

To become a viable alternative for traditional electricity production, photovoltaics need to become less expensive. Conversion efficiencies need to be increased or the cost of the production processes need to be reduced. The SOPPOM program translates this into the development of non-vacuum, solution-based processes for CIGS-based photovoltaic cells and the enhancement of the conversion efficiency of organic photovoltaic cells.
