This research project aims to investigate the peculiar characteristics that have to be taken into consideration for the construction of effective and sustainable dam reservoirs in different geological settings. In addition it aims to study the hydrogeological and engineering geological conditions of the existing micro-dams and their hydrodynamic interactions. By means of result analysis proper investigation methods will be developed.
