Project description

This project studies the signal transduction mechanisms of the oxidative stress response in plants. For hydrogen peroxide inducible proteins, we will determine their subcellular (re)localisation during stress. For proteins with a nuclear relocalisation we will perform a ‘cytosolic retention’ screen together with a Tandem Affinity Purification. For a selection of genes, their potential impact on stress tolerance will be assessed.
