In this research programme, three research Lines are proposed in relation to a visitng scholarship of Prof. Ellenbogen at the psychopathology and Affective Neuroscience lab at Ghent University. This research will involve examining the role of attentional processes in stress-reactivity in relation to depression. Central to the research are psychophysiological markers of stress-reativity and the causal role of attention on the stress response.
