The funding will be allocated to projects related to the production, circulation, and reception of contemporary Spanish-American literature. The focus is on new subject positions and new forms of agency within this literature, as well as on conceptual innovation. Special attention will be given to how the studied works respond aesthetically to various modalities of violence in Latin American societies, ranging from political and linguistic violence, to violence against migrants and gender-based violence, as well as colonial and ecological violence.
